- How about the payment methods of the monthly rent, and the deadline?BORDERLESS HOUSE JAPANThe deadline for a month’s rent is always on the 26th of the previous month. You are welcome to pay in advance too.
Accepted payment methods include: bank transfer (domestic transfer) and GMO payment (automatic credit card withdrawal, cash payment at convenience stores).

There are three payment methods: paying via domestic or international bank transfer, Peer to peer transfer Transferwise (1.5% transfer charge), or in cash at our office in Seoul (Hapjeong). If you would like to use your credit card, please pay via Transferwise or other peer to peer transfer system. (We do not accept fees via PayPal)

The deadline for monthly rent is always on the 26th of the previous month. You are welcome to pay in advance too. We offered three different payment methods that you can choose: paying via domestic bank transfer, INSTO (online credit card system), or in cash at our office in Ximen station. *If you would like to pay with your credit card, please contact our staff to get your INSTO payment link.
*Please note that the transaction fees have to be covered by the customer. - Can I smoke?BORDERLESS HOUSE JAPANIf your house is labeled a “Non-smoking House”, it is strictly prohibited to smoke anywhere near the house’s premises. In every other house, you may smoke in the smoking area (usually in front of the entrance or on the rooftop).BORDERLESS HOUSE KOREASmoking inside is under the ban at all houses. Smoking area is differ in each houses and if the area is near the house, smokers have to clean it themselves regularly.BORDERLESS HOUSE TAIWANSmoking is strictly prohibited to smoke snywhere near the house's premises in all houses.
- Can my friends or family stay overnight?BORDERLESS HOUSE JAPANYou are welcome to have visitors during the day(up to 12PM), but out of consideration towards your housemate’s privacy, security and daily life rhythm, having someone stay overnight is strictly prohibited.BORDERLESS HOUSE KOREAInviting any male friend or family is strictly prohibited in female-only houses. You are welcome to have visitors during the day with all housemates' permission, but having someone overnight is also prohinited for other's privacy and security.BORDERLESS HOUSE TAIWANYou are welcome to have visitors during the day. However, to respect your housemates' privacy, security, and daily routines, overnight guests are strictly prohibited.
- Is there a parking space for cars or bicycles?Some houses have a parking space. Please check the house’s website for details.
- How does everyone deal with house cleaning and throwing away the garbage?BORDERLESS HOUSE JAPANThere is no cleaning service that takes care of the house cleaning or throwing away the garbage. Instead, rules are made among the housemates to cooperate with the cleaning. Our staff will also visit the house to check the environment.
BORDERLESS HOUSE places great importance on providing opportunities for mutual communication. Therefore, we hope that housemates can come to understand each other's values and cultures through daily activities such as assigning cleaning duties.BORDERLESS HOUSE KOREAThere is no cleaning service that takes care of the house cleaning or throwing away the garbage. Instead, rules are made among the housemates to cooperate with the cleaning. The only exception is the largest house, Chungjeongno1 house, where a cleaning service comes at fortnightly intervals.

All cleaning and garbage disposal tasks are carried out through collaborative efforts among the housemates. We kindly ask all housemates to adhere to these guidelines.

- What should I do about daily consumable goods?Regarding goods for your own use such as shampoo or laundry detergent, please buy them on your own. For other consumable goods that will be used by everyone (garbage bags, dish detergent, toilet paper, tissues etc.), usually each house collects 500-1000 yen from each housemate per month to buy it in a bulk. Please cooperate with your housemates in this matter.
